The National Park Service celebrates its 100th birthday on Aug. 25, and visitors across the country are renewing their relationship with the agency’s 407 national parks, monuments, memorials, and historic sites.
To celebrate, the NPS and the National Park Foundation launched FindYourPark.com as a way to encourage people to visit as many parks as possible in this centennial year.
Well, if you visit Keystone, you are a day trip from six of the national parks, monuments, memorials, and historic sites. That’s pretty amazing when you think about it. Here’s the list:
- Mount Rushmore National Memorial
- Badlands National Park
- Jewel Cave National Monument
- Devils Tower National Monument
- Minuteman National Historic Site
- Wind Cave National Park
