About Custer State Park Resort
Hungry? We have four restaurants throughout the resort to choose from—each with their own flavors and specialties. From elegant meals to hearty ranch fare and family-friendly homestyle cooking, you’re sure to find something to please you. If you’re hosting an event, we also have catering options.
Blue Bell Lodge Dining Room & Lounge
Experience hearty ranch house dining in Blue Bell Lodge dining room and lounge. We’re serving up the true Western flavor, with cattle-drive classics featuring bison, beef, chicken, and fish—and even some rattlesnake sausage. Come early and enjoy the patio that overlooks French Creek. And don't miss the opportunity to enjoy an old-fashioned hayride with sing-along entertainment to a chuckwagon cookout in a secluded valley.
Dining at its finest
The State Game Lodge offers a casual yet elegant breakfast and lunch dining with a more formal ambiance for dinner.
Enjoy elegant dining—and views
Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients grace the dinner table at Sylvan Lake Lodge. The double-peaked wooden ceiling, hardwood floors, and stone fireplace lend an air of luxury that complements the view. In fair weather, make reservations on the stone veranda (dogs welcome) for al fresco dining with fabulous vistas of the Hills. The restaurant is closed in the winter from November through April, but keeps the following hours from the end of April through the end of October:
A can't-miss lakeside dining experience
There’s nothing fussy about eating at Legion Lake, but it is pretty breathtaking. We just rebuilt the lodge from the ground up so that the restaurant now features some of the only Black Hills lakeside dining.
Our new menu offers quality family-friendly entrees with full tableside service both inside and on the Deck. If you prefer to stay cool indoors, floor-to-ceiling windows await at every seat.
Taking it back to your cabin or down to the beach? Order from our Picnic Menu and get it to go.
