Keystone Chamber Hires Davenport as Executive Director

    Keystone, South Dakota, April 22, 2015 – The Keystone Chamber of Commerce welcomes Dolsee Davenport as their new Executive Director. The board of directors had several qualified candidates apply and interview for this coveted position and Davenport certainly stood out from the crowd. She is expected to start the position on May 5, 2015.

    Ben Brink, President of the Keystone Chamber stated, “I can say it truly is an exciting time to be part of the Keystone Chamber, as we have certainly taken a step in the right direction. I look forward to Ms. Davenport joining our team and contributing not only through her excitement and enthusiasm for our community and the Black Hills, but for her to share her real-world experiences and expertise, as we continue to take an active approach in marketing to and welcoming visitors from around the globe as they make Keystone their base for lodging, dining, shopping, and family-friendly attractions all just two miles from Mount Rushmore.”

    Davenport is a resident of the Southern Hills and has been working in the tourism industry for the past five years. Davenport stated, “As the new executive director I’d like to be a key representative and advocate for business owners and employers in the Keystone community. I want to help keep the town attractive and culturally rich so as to attract visitors and customers. I also hope to enhance and support Keystone in any way that I can.”
